Option to disable timestamp option because of subversion
Reply Quote
I would like to disable the option to insert a timestamp (// File time...). When omitting this, when a wsdl/xsd is regenerated, source-code files that do not change will contain exact the same content. So if you are working with subversion, and contracts change all the time (wether or not this is a good thing), it's easy to see in subversion which files changed, and which files are added.

I'd just like to second Doekman's request, but from a source code control point of view. In the early stage of development it is necessary to recreate the data types represented by your xsd. When these are generated with the seperate files option many of them may not have changed from the last time. Often the only difference to show up in source control is the File time value automatcially generated by WSCF in the code file header. Therefore an option to turn this off or even better the ability to amend the template used for the header would be a great enhancement.

Otherwise any excellent tool that has saved me many hours, thanks.
